Learning Awards 2017
Each
week we will be showcasing the award winning and highly commended entries from

Queen’s 2018 New Year
Honours list – Nominations Now Open!
The
Education and Public Services Group are inviting nominations for the Queen’s
2018 New Year Honours list. If you know of any deserving people who work
in the Education, Local Government, Communities, Tackling Poverty, Housing and
Regeneration sectors who have demonstrated exceptional achievement or service,
then please submit your nomination by 1 March 2017.

The British Council have developed a series of resources, in partnership with The Royal Society, to enhance science learning in schools.
This fourth resource in the Commonwealth Science Class series investigates the topic of global food security and is packed with activity ideas to help your students explore this subject further.

complete sequences and create their own patterns. There is an opportunity to
develop their understanding of algorithms by making instructions for others to
recreate their patterns (KS2).
