nominations for the Queen’s 2018 New Year
Honours list. If you know of any
deserving people who work in the Education, Local Government, Communities, Tackling Poverty, Housing and Regeneration
sectors who have demonstrated exceptional achievement or service, then please
submit your nomination by 1 March 2017.
Join British Council Connecting Classrooms for free professional learning to support you with the Wider Skills and Digital Competence Framework. Once on board, we will support you in a professional partnership with a school overseas, and you can access a grant of £3,000 for an international visit.

If you’re attending the upcoming BETT show in ExCel London, come and
find us at stand H310. If you
haven’t already done so, you can register now for a free ticket. We’ll be promoting the Learning in Digital Wales programme which
offers free digital tools to all maintained schools in Wales.
Following
feedback from parents/ carers, one recurring theme seems to be a fear of maths
and supporting their child at home. So, Welsh Government have engaged
with numeracy experts in Wales to produce a selection of maths resources aimed
at 3 to 16 year olds to encourage parents/carers to engage with their children
and support them with their maths homework.
The North Wales Economic Ambition Board (NWEAB), with partner organisations, has commissioned the development of new and free KS2 classroom resources accompanied by a short film, to add value to national curriculum materials. Click here for further information.
