Attainment gap for those on free school meals closes again

The attainment gap between pupils in Wales receiving free school meals and their peers is continuing to close according to the latest official figures released today.

Holocaust Educational Trust – Lessons from Auschwitz project

The Lessons from Auschwitz Project takes students and teachers from across the UK to the Nazi Concentration and death camp Auschwitz-Burkenau.  The aim is to raise awareness and understanding in schools and the wider public of the Holocaust and its relevance today.

Student Events in Wales - Further Maths Support Programme 

The Welsh Government funded FMSP Wales is holding 3 one-day conferences for Year 12 students in January 2017 - Aberystwyth University 16 January; Cardiff University 18 January and Bangor University 20 January.  These include fun and challenging workshops and talks to inspire students to take their maths further.
