across Wales launches, Education Secretary Kirsty Williams has announced.

Estyn
has launched a consultation on proposals for how they inspect education and
training in Wales. The proposals will take effect from September 2017.

The message this year is ‘Bullying is everyone’s
business’ to empower children and young people to identify and
address bullying, whether it is happening to them or someone else or if
bullying occurs face to face or online, further information on how you can help
stop bullying can be found here. The Welsh Government has also published guidance
for parents whose children are being bullied and for children
who are being bullied.

This autumn you will see the latest TV advert
encouraging parents/carers to support their children by the little things they
do at home, by reading with them, making sure they have breakfast, taking an
interest in their school life and giving them the confidence to do well. Download the advert and share on your
schools website.

a need for consistent safeguarding learning tools to help embed the guidance.
The modules are for all staff
within an educational setting and the first is a general introduction to
safeguarding, the link to which is below. The modules are made available by
