results 2016: Apprenticeships
Thousands of young people across Wales will be opening those
all-important envelopes this week to see their results and many may be
wondering what their next steps will be. Vocational routes, like
apprenticeships, can give a solid grounding for exciting and rewarding careers.
The Apprenticeship Programme, supported by the Welsh Government and the
European Social Fund, is a great way for individuals to gain recognised
qualifications and essential skills, while earning a wage. To search

The Apprenticeship Awards takes place on 20 October at Venue Cymru, Llandudno and recognises the achievements of individuals,
employers and providers across Wales. Sponsorship packages are available at a

Hwb+ and the new academic year
To ensure your Hwb+
site is updated with users, classes and subjects for the new academic year, a
“rollover” process takes place. In most
cases your local authority will be managing the process and there should be very
little admin required in school. More information and guidance can be found on Hwb. However, if you are experiencing any issues please contact the Hwb+

National EOTAS Conferences
This year the Welsh Government will be hosting its first
ever national conference on education other than at school (EOTAS). There
will be two conferences, one in South Wales and another in North Wales.
