'Rule of six'

6

New rules come into force in England today (14 September) which means social gatherings of more than six people are against the law – indoors or out – unless the group is one household or support bubble.

Detailed guidance on the new rules on how to meet people safely, including our changes to gatherings rules, can be found here.

Hands, Face, Space

There are three simple actions we must all do to keep on protecting each other:

  • HANDS – keep washing your hands regularly
  • FACE – wear a face covering over your nose and mouth in enclosed spaces
  • SPACE – stay at least 2 metres apart, or 1 metre with a face covering or other precautions

If you are feeling unwell, get a test and do not leave home for at least 10 days.

Your health matters

BH2

Extra weight puts extra pressure on your body. This makes it harder to fight against diseases like cancer, heart disease, and now, Covid-19.

Losing weight can help reduce your risk.

One way you can do that is to follow the NHS 12-week weight loss plan, tailored to your needs.
