People aged 45 and over can book their first Covid-19 vaccination

Book online

or by calling 119.

If you cannot get an appointment, speak to your GP surgery.

You can also book your appointment if:
• You are at high risk from coronavirus (clinically extremely vulnerable)
• You have a condition that puts you at higher risk (clinically vulnerable)
• You have a learning disability
• You are a carer - you get a Carer's Allowance or other support; your GP record shows you are a carer
If you think you are an eligible unpaid carer who has not been contacted for your coronavirus vaccination, speak to your GP surgery.

Second dose vaccination appointments

Second dose vaccination appointments are going ahead as planned at all borough’s centres, including at Telford International Centre.
Some appointments might have been moved but if this is the case, people will have been contacted.
If you are due your second vaccination dose – please make sure to attend your appointment.
The Covid-19 vaccine is the best way of protecting yourself and your loved ones.

Free rapid testing for everyone

Everyone is now being asked to TEST TWICE PER WEEK to help stop the spread of Covid-19.
It's simple to do and here's how:

IF YOU ARE FEELING WELL (with no symptoms):

- Pick up a home testing kit and simply test at home twice a week

From today, you can collect home testing kits from the below libraries and leisure sites:
◾️ Southwater Library, 10am - 5pm Mon-Sat
◾️ Wellington Library, 10am - 5pm  Mon-Fri, 10am -1pm Sat - Closed Wed
◾️ Abraham Darby Leisure Centre, 9am - 3pm, Mon-Sun

 

The following sites are also open for collection:

Mon–Fri, 9am–2pm & 2.30pm-7pm, Sat–Sun, 10am–2.30pm
◾️ The Place – Oakengates (closed on Saturdays)
◾️ The Anstice – Madeley
◾️ Cosy Hall – Newport


Mon-Sun, 2:30pm-8pm:
◾️  Ironbridge Park and Ride site
◾️  Legges Way Car Park, Madeley
◾️  The Place Car Park, Oakengates
◾️  Donnington Wood Bowling Club
◾️ Wrekin Road Car Park, Wellington
Find your nearest collection centre

Collect a test kit from your local pharmacy - find your nearest pharmacy

Anyone over 18 can collect home testing kits and no appointments are needed

-Get a rapid test at a community testing site

◾️ The Anstice - Madeley
◾️ Cosy Hall - Newport
◾️ or participating pharmacies
Book an appointment

-Get tests through your employer. Please check with your employer to see if this option is available to you.

- Order online - if you can't use the options above, you can order a home test kit online.

When testing at home,  you will need to register your results online or by calling 119. If you have a positive result, you should self-isolate and book a confirmatory PCR test.
