Housing Options Officer

The Role:

The post holder will work within the busy Three Rivers Housing Services and report directly to the Housing Solutions Manager. The post holder will be a pro-active individual who will deliver a comprehensive and high quality, customer focused service. The post holder will be responsible for investigating, assisting and advising customers on their housing options, providing the Council’s statutory obligations in relation to housing advice and homelessness services.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a fast paced and enthusiastic individual to join the Housing Services Department at Three Rivers District Council. The ideal candidate does not necessarily need a background in housing but must be able to communicate effectively and have the ability to deal sensitively with members of the public. They must be able to work as past of a team and on their own initiative, responding to changes in demand and prioritise workloads effectively. Full training around housing legislation will be given.
