Salary: £28,226 - £30,095

As Community Engagement Officer you will support the development and delivery of life changing and life saving health and wellbeing messages and activities that bring about behaviour and lifestyle changes that have long term positive outcomes for our diverse community. This role will engage with local communities to improve access to services and share information with partnership structure. This role will be involved in health protection.

Salary: £20,444 - £21,695 per annum

We are looking for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our successful Environmental Protection team normally based at the Aquadrome / Batchworth Depot.

The main duties include tractor driving and day to day grounds maintenance work. Ensuring playgrounds are kept in a clean and safe condition and that all playground equipment is checked and maintained daily. You may be required to carry out full playground inspections. The grounds maintenance operative will undertake specialist grounds work within the contract specifications when required on bowling greens, cricket pitches.

Salary: £38,553 to £52,821 per annum

The successful candidate will work alongside individuals to identify areas of support and how to meet their needs to successfully move them on to longer term accommodation. They will identify barriers, strengths and goals, with a focus on employability. They will encourage training and educational opportunities to empower individuals and work with partners to ensure the customers gets the best possible outcome. The candidate will participate in group forums with a strong focus on preventing rough sleepers in our District and actively work alongside Housing Options Officers to prevent homelessness.

Salary: £19,650 (Pro-rata) per annum

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to work within our Street Cleansing team based at Batchworth Depot, Rickmansworth. The main duties will include litter picking, street cleansing, sweeping, emptying bins and waste disposal. The post holder would need to be physically able to undertake manual work and be willing and able to work outside in all conditions.

Experience in the Waste collection would be a benefit.

Salary: £600 per day

LA1 is a local authority partnership which oversees the statutory building control function for the eight local authorities in the partnership.This is a part time interim role based on one day a week for eight months which can be split over any number of days to lead the department and ensure that the statutory function is carried out in a legally compliant way.  We are seeking an experienced building control surveyor who will lead the small team and provide them with statutory advice as well as taking responsibility for issuing statutory notices. The Parish Council is seeking to appoint a Planning & Highways Administrative Officer. This role would report directly to the Chief Officer & Clerk. The primary function of this role is to provide administrative support to the Chief Officer & Clerk, Councillors and the Parish Council team on matters related to the Planning & Highways Committee. Main duties include clerking the Planning & Highways Committee and supporting any consultations associated with this committee.
