We're getting through this together
Since March, we've been keeping residents and everyone across our communities updated on the local response to the pandemic through regular, dedicated emails, social media, our website and more.
A few months in, it's clear this isn't over. But we wanted to take a moment to thank and celebrate everyone in Tower Hamlets for the way you have all stepped up so far to help beat this thing.
And to do this, we've put together a special two-minute film...
New film celebrates the Tower Hamlets community
It has been incredibly heartening to see so many residents, volunteers, community groups, partner organisations and council staff working together from across our diverse communities to tackle coronavirus.
Through our #TowerHamletsTogether film, we want to say a very big thank you to everyone who is helping to keep Tower Hamlets healthy, safe and supported - from key workers and volunteers to all those who stayed at home.
Together, you have shown that in Tower Hamlets, we protect our neighbours. That we are resilient with a collaborative spirit. That we can come together by staying apart. And that we will come out of this stronger than before.
Watch, share and like the video to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone in our community for helping to get us through this together.

Get involved in bringing #TowerHamletsTogether
If you're helping in the community, why not take a moment to share a photo or a story on social media using the hashtag #TowerHamletsTogether?
It could be anything from displaying your child's rainbow drawing in your window to dropping off essential supplies to a neighbour, or maybe you're a small business or organisation supporting people in a different way. Every little gesture is helping us get through this together.
Thank you to absolutely everyone for playing their part. And thank you to those who have already shared their stories!
Our special edition Our East End has lots more on the local response to coronavirus and is available online.
Reminder: It's time to talk coronavirus and you
What are you most worried about as lockdown starts to ease? Have you noticed some positives to staying home? Or maybe you're planning to change how you travel in future?
We are running a survey to help us understand the specific ways you and your family have been impacted. This is to help us support you on the road ahead.
Sign up to Let's Talk Tower Hamlets and tell us your thoughts by Wednesday 17 June.
Save the date: Virtual Ask the Mayor
Mayor John Biggs will be hosting a virtual Ask the Mayor event at 7pm - 8.30pm on Tuesday 23 June.
This is your chance to hear from the mayor on local issues that matter to you, all while staying home.
We'll keep you posted on how to take part online nearer to the event through our website and social media pages.
