Staff are required to record their preferred language of communication, Welsh language skills and whether they are happy to assist other departments in providing Welsh services to our customers. This is possible within iFOR.
We have a statutory duty as a Council to record the language skills and preference of ALL our staff.
Staff will be able to amend their skills as they learn Welsh, and managers will be able to view their progress.
Unlike previous skills surveys, there will be no pre-selected language preference, therefore ALL staff will need to record their Language and skill levels in Reading, Speaking, Understanding and Writing Welsh on iFOR.
