Big Mac's Wholly Soul Band, one of south Wales’ most popular acts, will headline a diverse line up of music and dance acts throughout the day.
There is also a huge amount of entertainment on offer including bubble and pirate shows, a dog show, sports, contemporary art from around Wales, farm animals, a full-sized fun fair, pop-up vintage tea rooms, re-enactments, a rock hunt and lots more.
The popular children’s parade returns this year and will take inspiration from the Welsh Government’s Year of the Sea theme, with children able to make craft pieces to carry or wear in the parade which takes place at 2pm on the day. There will also be a food and craft market in addition to the usual range of stalls, with a wide variety of food on offer.

Bydd adloniant di-ri ar gael gan gynnwys sioeau swigod a môr-ladron, sioe gŵn, chwaraeon, celf fodern o ar draws Cymru, anifeiliaid fferm, ffair, ystafelloedd te, ail-greu, helfâu creigiau a llawer mwy.
Mae’r orymdaith plant boblogaidd yn dychwelyd eleni a bydd yn cael ei hysbrydoli gan thema Blwyddyn y Môr Llywodraeth Cymru, gyda’r plant yn gallu gwneud darnau o grefftwaith i’w cario neu i’w gwisgo yn yr orymdaith a fydd yn digwydd am 2pm ar y diwrnod. Hefyd bydd marchnad bwyd a chrefftau yn ogystal â’r amrywiaeth arferol o stondinau gydag amrywiaeth eang o fwyd ar gael.
 Blaenavon World Heritage Site awarded £1.2m National Lottery grant
The Blaenavon World Heritage Site has received a share of an £8.6m National Lottery investment to help preserve the UK’s industrial heritage.
Torfaen Council has been awarded £1.2m for a project to help regenerate the town centre and promote Blaenavon as a World Heritage Site and tourist destination.
The funding will allow the Council to deliver a Townscape Heritage Programme which will help local property owners based on Broad Street to make heritage-based improvements to their properties, improving the look and feel of the town centre to make it a more attractive place to visit and do business.
Safle Treftadaeth y Byd Blaenafon yn cael grant y Loteri Genedlaethol o £1.2m
Mae Safle Treftadaeth y Byd Blaenafon wedi derbyn rhan o fuddsoddiad £8.6m y Loteri Genedlaethol i helpu i warchod treftadaeth ddiwydiannol y DU.
Mae Cyngor Torfaen wedi derbyn £1.2m ar gyfer prosiect i helpu i adfywio canol y dref a hyrwyddo Blaenafon fel Safle Treftadaeth y Byd a chyrchfan i dwristiaid.
Bydd yr arian yn caniatáu i’r Cyngor gyflenwi Rhaglen Treftadaeth Treflun a fydd yn helpu perchnogion eiddo lleol ar Broad Street i wneud gwelliannau seiliedig ar dreftadaeth i’w heiddo, gan wella golwg ac awyrgylch canol y dref i’w gwneud yn lle mwy deniadol i ymweld a gwneud busnes ynddo.
 Free Healthy Snacks at all Torfaen Summer Playschemes
Children attending Torfaen playschemes this summer will benefit from free healthy snacks and a 'daily mile' as part of a campaign to increase physical activity and wellbeing in young people. The initiative is being funded by Pontypool Community Council and will see over 2000 children receiving free healthy meals each day.

Council adopts revised dog controls
Torfaen council will replace existing Dog Controls with a new Public Spaces Protection Order from December.
Under the new order, dog fouling will remain an offence, and dogs will continue to be excluded from school grounds, children’s play areas, marked sports pitches and designated bird breeding areas.
The number of dog exclusion zones in the borough will be cut from 250 to 140.

 Popular bakery to host pop-up afternoon tea
A popular Pontypool bakery is hosting a pop-up afternoon tea at Pontypool Indoor Market on Saturday 21 July from 4:30pm.
Penrhiwgyngi Farm Bakery will be treating guests to homemade cakes, scones and sandwiches, and a selection of hot savouries, all topped off with a cheese board to finish.Tickets are £15 for food, teas and fresh brewed coffee, and can be bought directly from the bakery.
