 Can you name the Torfaen Sixth Form/Post 16 Learning Centre?
It’s not really a catchy name is it?
Torfaen Council and Coleg Gwent need your help to choose a name for this new £20 million purpose built learning centre which will be the home of all English Language A Level education in the borough.
The centre will also offer level 2 and 3 vocational qualifications, foundation degrees and the Welsh Baccalaureate. It will serve all pupils in the borough and will become the pathway for students into higher education, training and employment. Click here to have your say

 Pontypool pizzeria celebrates birthday with pizza and prosecco night
A popular Pontypool pizzeria is hosting a pop-up pizza and prosecco night on Thursday 21 June to celebrate its 30th anniversary in the town.
Family run Porky’s Pizza, which opened in Pontypool town centre in 1987, will take over the indoor market for the event. Full story here

Britain's Got Talent star to headline Pontypool comedy night
Surreal stand-up star Noel James, fresh from his recent performance on Britain’s Got Talent, will headline the quarterly comedy night at Pontypool Indoor Market on Thursday 28 June.
Noel, a veteran of more than 25 years on the UK comedy circuit, made it to the semi-finals of the ITV show in May but narrowly missed out on a place in the finals.
He will headline a diverse line up that including Sarah Breese, Kris Davies and the award winning Josh Elton.
