Award winning chef Mark Coulton is bringing an Italian night to Pontypool on Thursday 22 March with a pop-up restaurant at the indoor market.
Mark, of Blaenavon-based Sugar Loaf Catering, has won numerous awards including the prestigious Great Taste and Wales True Taste awards.
On the menu for the evening will be focaccia & olives to start, while the main course will be slow cooked beef in a tomato, garlic and olive oil sauce served with chilli and parmesan polenta, cavolo nero, and garlic potatoes. A vegetarian option of roasted pepper with spiced aubergine and Tallegio cheese will be available.
The meal will be finished with a trio of desserts including pannacotta, tirami su and Prosecco jelly.
A fully licensed bar will be available throughout the evening.

Mae’r cogydd Mark Coulton, sydd wedi ennill gwobrau, yn dod â noson Eidalaidd i Bont-y-pŵl ar ddydd Iau 22 Mawrth gyda fflach-fwyty yn y farchnad dan do.
Mae Mark, o’r cwmni Sugar Loaf Catering ym Mlaenafon, wedi ennill nifer o wobrau, gan gynnwys gwobrau enwog Great Taste a Wales True Taste.
Ar y fwydlen ar gyfer y noson bydd focaccia ac olifau i ddechrau, a’r prif gwrs fydd cig eidion wedi ei goginio’n araf mewn saws tomato, garlleg ac olew’r olewydd, gyda polenta chilli a pharmesan, cavolo nero a thatws garlleg. Bydd opsiwn llysieuol gyda phupur wedi ei rostio ac aubergine sbeis a chaws Tallegio ar gael.
I orffen y pryd bwyd, bydd tri phwdin yn cynnwys pannacotta, tiramisu a jeli Prosecco.
Bydd bar trwyddedig llawn ar gael trwy gydol y noson.
