Disruption to services
Our website and social media will have the very latest updates on changes to services, closures, travel and weather advice. See the links below.
Weather latest
The Met Office have issued a RED weather warning for South East Wales from 3pm today - please avoid travelling in this. See their website for more details.
Waste and recycling
Due to the difficult conditions underfoot all waste and recycling collections have been cancelled for today (01.03.18) and tomorrow. (02.03.18)
We will not be able to return for missed recycling collections, so please put these out for collection next week and we will aim to collect on your next scheduled day.
We will aim to return to collect food and the skinny bins when we can – we will update you with information on this as and when we can.
The household waste recycling centre is closed today and a decision will be taken on Friday morning about reopening.
Please be aware that many of our waste and recycling crews double as drivers for the gritters, those who live locally are also being drafted in to support snow clearance teams.
We are expecting difficult conditions into next week so the advice above may change. We will post regular updates on social media and on our website
