Refuse Collections - Monday 11 December 2017

Please put out your waste for collection as normal.

Crews may be late and may miss certain areas but they will try to collect as much as possible wherever they are able to reach along main routes.

If missed, please leave your bin out, as crews will return to collect as soon as we can.

Refuse trucks may cause a little congestion as not all routes are back to 2 lanes.

Please share with with friends, family and neighbours not online.

School closures

A full list of school closures is available on the website. It is the headteacher's responsibility to notify the council about any school closures. If they have not notified us, the school will not appear on the list.

A repair is then urgently needed, bringing you expense and inconvenience at a time of year when you’d least want to face it. To help you to have a stress-free winter, Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water have some top tips on protecting your home over the colder months.

Clearing snow and ice from pavements

There's no law stopping you from clearing snow and ice on the pavement outside your home or from public spaces. The yellow grit bins are there for residents to use on local trouble spots – please use the salt sensibly, as a thin layer is usually all that is needed to be effective. Advice and information is available onwww.gov.uk.
