Torfaen Spring Clean
Thanks to everyone who's signed up for the Torfaen Spring Clean. It really is a whole community effort with everyone pulling together to play their part in creating a cleaner, greener borough.
Over the coming weeks there are lots of events organised, all open to volunteers to come along and help make a difference and the latest what's on list is below.
If you're out and about, don't forget to take plenty of photos and share it online using the #torfaenspringclean hashtag.
Gwanwyn Glân Torfaen
Diolch i bawb a gofrestrodd ar gyfer Gwanwyn Glân Torfaen. Mae wir yn ymdrech gymunedol gyda phawb yn cyd-dynnu i chwarae eu rhan i greu bwrdeistref lanach a gwyrddach.
Mae llawer o ddigwyddiadau wedi eu trefnu dros yr wythnosau nesaf, pob un ohonynt yn agored i wirfoddolwyr sydd am alw heibio i helpu i wneud gwahaniaeth ac mae'r rhestr ddiweddaraf isod.

- Meet at Burger Van off Farm Road
- A litter pick at the British site organised by Torfaen Council to support the Torfaen Spring Clean.
- Saturday 4 March 2017, 8:30am -10:30am
- Meet behind the Olive Tree Cwmbran
- Parkrun volunteers will be joining the Torfaen Spring Clean initiative. Please come join us, help keep our communities clean and attractive.
- Saturday 4 March 2017, 10am-12pm
- Pontypool Active Living Centre
- The Pontypool Park Friends litter pick at Pontypool Park, organised to support the Torfaen Spring Clean.
- Date:Saturday 4 March 2017, 11am-1pm
- Location:Oakfield Flower Gardens
- A community litter pick organised by LLARCs (Llantarnam Residents Conservation Society). Everyone welcome.
- Sunday 5 March 2017, 10am-12pm
- Meet at fire circle/cabin
- Blaen Bran Community Woodland are holding an orchard planting and litter pick.
- Sunday 5 March 2017, 10am - 2pm
- Pixie Park, Bowleaze, Greenmeadow, NP44 4LF,
- Putting the 'green' into Greenmeadow. A family fun day and litter pick at Pixie Park, Bowleaze, Greenmeadow.
- Monday 6 March 2017, 10am - 12pm
- Meet outside Pontypool Active Living Centre
- Organised by Keep Wales Tidy and Torfaen Council, a litter pick of Pontypool Park.
- Tuesday 7 March 2017, 5:30pm - 7:30pm
- Meet at The Moon car park, Garth Close NP4 8EH
- A community litter pick in Trevethin as part of the Torfaen Spring Clean, everyone welcome.
- Friday 10 March 2017, 10am - 12pm
- Cwmbran Boating Lake Car Park
- A litter pick at Cwmbran Boating Lake organised by Keep Wales Tidy and Torfaen Council.
- Tuesday 14 March 2017, 10:30am
- Cwmbran Stadium
- A litter pick and walk around Cwmbran with the Torfaen Take a Stroll group.
- Tuesday 14 March 2017, 2pm

- A litter pick and walk around Blaenavon with the Torfaen Take a Stroll group.
