Restart Grants

Status: Live

The Restart Grant scheme, replacing the Local Restrictions Support Grants (LRSG), is now open for applications.

These will be one-off payments to business rate-paying applicants, predominantly reliant on delivering in-person services for the general public, in the non-essential retail and hospitality, leisure, personal care and accommodation sectors.

As this is a new scheme, all applicants must make a manual application. The Council will not be releasing access code letters for this scheme.

Find out if you are eligible and apply today.

Discretionary Restart Grants (ARG)

Status: Coming May 2021

The Council will use its Additional Restrictions Grant (ARG) funding to run a Discretionary Restart Grant scheme. This will be for for severely impacted businesses and non-rated businesses in the non-essential retail, hospitality, leisure, personal care and accommodation sectors.

Existing ARG applicants will receive an access code letter via email allowing them to apply, with new ARG applicants able to submit a new application in full.

Further details regarding this scheme will be released in due course.
