We invite planners, developers and real estate professionals to join our upcoming webinar, 'Embedding social value into planning' on Wednesday, 23 June, 10.00 - 11.15 (GMT).
Social Value is rarely considered during the planning process and as a result, communities are being denied up to £30 billion worth of additional social benefits that would otherwise arise if developers were asked to focus on maximising the wider contribution a development can bring to society.
This is nonsensical and as we emerge from the pandemic, it will be even more vital for the planners and developers to work more closely together to see how they can build back better, greener and fairer.
In this webinar, we'll be sharing 6 months of collaborative insight from the Social Value Planning Taskforce, as we discuss the practical and viable recommendations for embedding social value in planning and, in turn, how we can generate more jobs, more local wealth creation, greater community cohesion, and a cleaner, greener environment.
The time for timidity is over and we need to be BOLD if we are going to help all of our communities recover and renew as quickly as possible.
