Somerset West and Taunton Council is supporting the Minehead and Coast Development Trust, working with local partners in Minehead has commissioned consultants to undertake a refresh of the 2016 Minehead Economic Plan with a focus on People and Place.
The Minehead Survey has now been set up and can be accessed using the following link:

As a starting point, we’d be grateful for your comments on how you use the town, what appeals to you, what could be improved. We also want to understand what you think are the main challenges the town faces and the priorities we should focus on to address these and enhance Minehead in the future.

The Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport currently has an open call for evidence on improving broadband for very hard to reach areas. They would like to receive information on both the known benefits of broadband services and the current barriers to deployment and take-up.
