Stop Loan Sharks team can help anyone who is having difficulties in this area. They are the only Government agency in the UK who have the power to investigate and prosecute loan sharks and illegal money lenders.

Residents are not in trouble if they have borrowed cash or have been paying back a loan from an illegal money lender, the loan shark is. They are the people committing a crime, not our residents.

By encouraging any of our residents who are experiencing difficulties to look on the Stop Loan Sharks website, they have taken the first step to getting their life back and managing their money and debts. The Stop Loan Sharks will keep residents safe while they investigate the loan shark.
