It was a great summer for activities and our Aiming High providers delivered some fantastic sessions across the city.
Here is a roundup of what a few of our providers have done over Summer 2025!

Family Focus
Children were supported to have fun in a variety of settings, such as swimming, inflato bounce, bowling, Just Kidding and Wacky Warehouse. This gave parents/carers a short break knowing their children were having fun and being supported to build positive relationships, learn new skills and increase their independence. This summer has also offered empowerment and connection for children with SEND.

 |
|
Family Focus also welcomed new children onto the activities and held their first ever teen swim to try and reach another group of children who will benefit from social interaction and support to attend mainstream activities. |
Yes Let's at the New Vic
During the summer, New Vic Theatre hosted several den making sessions for SEND families sparking their curiosity and inspiring them to create New Worlds as a team. Through theatre games, storytelling and music, young people showed their skills and aspirations while making new friends. In their own words, young people and parents described sessions as:
|
“Fantastic”, “7/5”, “Wow”, “Pirat-astic, Arrr Captain! , “10”
“Felt very inclusive for T.’s needs! Thank you!”
“I feel the activities were fab. Spread out for different skills & abilities”
“Staff dealt well with a variety of different needs”
Some young people enjoyed themselves so much that they attended more than one session and are already booked for the Halloween-inspired sessions in October half-term. To book your place, please visit the booking site below:
