The Herts Card is a digital card from Hertfordshire County Council that will be available to families who are in receipt of benefit related free school meals. The hope is for vendors/suppliers/businesses like yourselves, to be able to offer a perk/discount to these families so that children can experience activities that they may not otherwise be able to do, due to financial stress.
It is entirely down to you and what your business may be able to offer. Existing offers include reduced entry to events, a free drink with an activity purchase, or a free treat with a drink purchase.
With support from Hertfordshire County Council Communications teams, the programme will be promoted through all council channels including through schools and social media.
Please get in touch if you would like to join the scheme by emailing Ashleigh.Carpenter@hertfordshire.gov.uk with the offer you are willing to contribute, or for more information.
