Information, help and advice on stretch funding
With the roll out of the new entitlements, more and more providers are having queries about offering the funding on a stretched basis.
The Finance team have been working on some guidance and resources to help providers who want to stretch the funding.
Currently the EY Portal allows you to claim the term time offer of 38 weeks or drawdown the funding over a stretched offer of 48 weeks, but some providers may want to offer the funding over a different number of weeks.
A resource has therefore been created to assist in understanding how this can be done and what hours the child would need to be given if claiming 48 weeks.
To assist with the rollout of this resource, and provide general guidance, the Finance Team will be holding provider briefings on Tuesday 14th May at the following times:
- Session 1: 10.30am to 11.30am
- Session 2: 6:00pm to 7:00pm
Both sessions will be the same so you only need to attend one. There is no need to book onto the session; links will be provided closer to the time.
If you have any questions, please contact the Finance team on 01785 854009 or email eefportal@staffordshire.gov.uk
