Join the ‘Hour Shakespeare’ group at Perton Library for a ‘Shakespeare Selection’
Celebrate ‘Shakespeare Week’ at Perton Library with the ‘Hour Shakespeare’ group. The group will perform scenes from Shakespeare plays, take part in an audience Q&A session and you will also be able to request favourite pieces for the group to perform.

Perton Library Science Fair & Spring Festival – Save the Date – 11th May!
As part of Green Libraries Month, Perton Library and Wild About Perton are hosting a fantastic science fair for all the family on Saturday 11th May, 10:00am – 3:00pm.
Following the great success of last year’s event, the library team have worked closely with the community and secured funding from the Friends of Perton Library, Wild About Perton and Staffordshire County Council’s Digital Infrastructure Team. Thanks to this they are able to offer some fascinating science shows, exhibitions and great things to see and do. The Library team are also working with friends from Wild About Perton and are again buddying up the event with their annual Spring Festival.
Look out for more information soon about who is attending and booking details of some of the FREE kids workshops.

Applications for the STAAR (Summer Time Advanced Aerospace Residency) programme are now open!
Designed specifically for Year 9 students with a keen interest in STEM subjects, the STAAR programme is a fully funded, hands-on residential camp set against the backdrop of RAF Cosford and RAF Museum Midlands.
Facilitated by industry professionals, this unique residential experience takes students on an immersive journey into the world of aerospace and engineering!
The STAAR programme is open for students nationwide and all spaces are fully funded.
