In the coming weeks we are launching a chatbot for our main website and we need your help to name it!
As part of our digital programme, we’ve developed a chatbot as a customer service tool, to simulate human conversation and help website visitors get the information they need.
Naming a chatbot helps to make it seem more human to users. Many websites and local authorities have named their chatbots, including Monmouthshire County Council, which named its chatbot Monty.
Think you have a great name for our new chatbot? Please email your suggestion and a short explanation to the Digital Team digital@staffordshire.gov.uk by Friday 19 June. The team will then choose their favourites and run a quick snap poll to determine the winning name.
In this video, Cannock Chase Ranger Rob Taylor explains how the team has worked tirelessly during lockdown to keep the public safe and prevent and manage wildfires.

Our Care Market Development Team (CMDT) support Staffordshire's care organisations to recruit, retain and develop highly skilled staff, so that our residents receive the best care possible.
Now more than ever, we need people to become carers, but recruiting people into care roles is a challenge.
The team are currently supporting two recruitment campaigns – one regional campaign called Time to Care – and one national campaign called Care for Others. Make a difference.
You can help them by liking or sharing their posts on social media so that the opportunity to join a caring profession reaches as many local people as possible.
