Fit workouts around your working hours
The new Solent Sports Complex at Solent University is open for everyone from early until late.
It offers 2 sports halls, well equipped gyms, dedicated indoor cycling studio and a host of classes including body combat, aerobic, yoga, pilates, step and tone and zumba.
Supporting staff who are unwell
In addition to supportive and skilled managers, HR, absence management policies, return to work interviews, employee assistance programmes and occupational health, there are some specialist services that you might find useful.
Do you have any staff currently experiencing mental health or musculoskeletal issues that mean they are off work?
If they are also at risk of losing their job because of their condition, the Well@Work team can work with you and them to retain valued skills and experience (and avoid disruption and recruitment costs).
If you have staff living with cancer - Maggie’s cancer support specialists run practical workshops and webinars to help you support people with cancer in the workplace

Volunteering Week - 1-7 June
As well as adding to the sum of personal wellbeing, volunteering is a great way for organisations to fulfil their Corporate Social Responsibility commitments. If you haven't yet engaged with volunteering the Volunteering Week website gives information and resources to help you start thinking about why this might be useful and how you could make a start.
Carers Week - 10-16 June
6.5m people in the UK are unpaid carers of other people so it's likely that some of your staff are part of this number. Although rewarding in many ways, caring can also be a stressful and isolating experience that sometimes conflicts with commitments at work. Being an understanding and supportive employer can make all the difference to retaining experienced and valuable staff.
The Carers Week campaign highlights the issues and seeks to provide information and support for those caring for others.
Carers Passports is one way to make it easier for people to share their situation by not having to keep explaining their responsibilities and needs - find more information about the needs of carers on the Carers UK website
