Get Creative Festival 2019

We're taking part in the national Get Creative Festival again this year! Several of our libraries will be running a "Junk to Gems" craft activity, up-cycling bottles, tops and books.

All events are free drop-ins, suitable for all ages but under 8's must be accompanied by an adult.

New Writing Group at Lordshill Library

Are you interested in writing? Need motivation or support and advice from others? The new Lordshill Library writing group could be for you!

Meeting the first Thursday of every month, all ages and ranges of literature are welcome.

Summer Reading Volunteers

SRC2019

Are you aged 14-25 and interested in working with children? Then why not have fun this summer by volunteering with Southampton Libraries. You will gain work experience and new skills by helping children keep reading during the summer holidays.

We are looking for volunteers who can commit to a minimum of one three-hour session a week from 13 July – 31 August 2019 (Younger volunteers may not be available weekdays until 23 July 2019 but this isn’t a problem - just let us know in your application.)

#NationalCupcakeDay

Cafe - Cupcakes

National Cupcake Day is on the horizon and Bitterne Library will be celebrating with a wonderful cupcake & coffee morning raising funds for the Alzheimer's Society!
