Summer Reading Challenge 2018

SRC2018

This year's Summer Reading Challenge theme is Mischief Makers, inspired by the much-loved iconic children's title Beano, which celebrates its 80th anniversary in 2018.

Children will explore a map of Beanotown to find the mysterious buried treasure and become ultimate mischief makers! Dennis, Gnasher and friends will help.

How do I get started?

Join the Summer Reading Challenge and pick up your Mischief Makers collector’s map at your local Southampton library.

It’s completely free!

All you have to do is read six books over the summer holidays. There are rewards to collect on the way and a certificate and medal too. Last year over 2,500 children took part in Southampton alone!

When can I start?

Mischief Makers will launch in your local library on Saturday 14 July 2018 and run until Saturday 1 September 2018

Drop into any library from 14 July this year it’s going to be HUGE!
