What's on in the Studio at The Core
Claytime (Saturday, June 1, morning and afternoon shows) - Perfect for children aged 3-6, this interactive 'play with clay' creates unique worlds, characters, and stories drawn from its young audience.
Box of Frogs (Friday, June 7) - Birmingham’s premier comedy improv group returns with spontaneous songs, sketches, and scenes.
Honeyboy Hickling Band (Friday, June 14) - Virtuoso Blues Harp harmonica player Simon 'Honeyboy' Hickling and his band, including Bob Wilson on guitar, perform.
Sukh Ojla and Tommy Sandhu (Sunday, June 16) - Sukh Ojla tackles middle age and adulthood, followed by Tommy Sandhu’s cheeky and hilarious solo stand-up show on life, marriage, fatherhood, and career.
Together in Solihull (Saturday, June 22, 12pm-6pm) - Celebrate Solihull’s diverse culture with free entertainment in Theatre Square. Enjoy performances including Kathak, belly, and bhangra dancing, world music DJ sets, lion dancers, afro beats, storytelling, and more, hosted by Solihull Council for Refugee Week.

Castle Bromwich Historic Gardens kicks off June with flowers and wraps up with more plants!
Saturday, June 1 - Meet six local florists and growers, explore their beautiful installations, make a stylish buttonhole, and let kids follow the flower fairy trail—all included with admission. Also, enjoy a Lego build day for families and Mrs. Barbara Nice’s Big Garden Bingo evening (6 pm).
June 15 - Experience a half-day 'Meet the Bees' with our Gardens’ hives. Suits provided!

Touchwood is heating up with 'Costa Del Solihull' and 'Summer of sport' activities, perfect for a fun-filled summer!
Costa Del Solihull: From July 20 to August 31, enjoy Touchwood's beloved beach, open daily for the school holidays. Meet Duggee from 'Hey Duggee' at the grand opening, with face painting, a DJ, and family-friendly fun. Craft workshops and activities will keep everyone entertained all summer long. Relax in a deck chair and enjoy family days out in Solihull.

Renew Café wellbeing pop-up
This 'pop-up' wellbeing cafe is on Wednesday afternoons 2-4pm in the Guild House in Knowle. All are welcome to spend some quiet time with a cup of tea or coffee, to chat to others if you like, or enjoy a hobby or puzzle. This is a place where we can relax and feel restored. Knowle Midsummer Celebrations

Knowle Party in the Park Returns
Get ready for the return of the beloved Knowle Party in the Park! Held in Knowle Park on Saturday, June 29, this event is a collaboration between Solihull Summer Fest, Visit Knowle, and local organizers. Fathers Day at the Manor

Blooming marvellous hanging baskets
Solihull and Chelmsley Wood town centres are ready for summer with 88 colourful hanging baskets ready to adorn the streets, thanks to a new partnership between Solihull Council’s environmental campaign ‘Love Solihull’ and Newlands Bishop Farm in Catherine de Barnes.
Part of the Family Care Trust, the farm gives people with learning disabilities and mental health conditions the chance to learn work-based skills in a range of subjects including horticulture. Students at the farm have nurtured the seedlings over the last few months which have blossomed into a beautiful array of plants, that have been lovingly arranged to create pops of floral delights to be shared across the town centres.
