Community Development Team - Youth Work Week Updates

YWW

Youth Work Week 2023 is this week from Monday 6 to Sunday 12 November, the theme this year is youth work in every place and space

From the halls of a school to the streets of a city, youth workers are there to support young people in every place and space. They provide a safe and supportive environment where young people can explore their interests, develop their skills, and build relationships.

Youth work is essential for helping young people to thrive in all areas of their lives. It can help them to:

  • Make informed choices about their future
  • Build resilience and overcome challenges
  • Become active and engaged in their community

Youth workers are passionate about helping young people to achieve their goals and reach their full potential.
