We want to share our exciting Energy Centre designs with you
We are really pleased to share with you that we are progressing through to the next stage of the Solihull Town Centre Energy Network project.
As part of this phase of the project, we have commenced work to design the Energy Centre building, which will be constructed on land next to the Tudor Grange Leisure Centre.
The Energy Centre will be the beating heart of a planned network which will generate and deliver affordable low carbon heat and power to Solihull Town Centre buildings.
Before we submit a planning application, we would like to share our designs and seek your views.
An Energy Centre designdocumentcan be found on our website along with an accompanying survey which will allow you to share your thoughts and provide any feedback.
The survey will be closed on Sunday 7 February at midnight. Alternatively, you can share your comments by emailing planning.consultation@cushwake.com
The proposed designs have been drawn up by the council’s in house architectural design team in collaboration with our technical advisers Sustainable Energy Limited. They seek to showcase and promote the renewable and low carbon technology being used, while ensuring the building itself sits comfortably within the context of the surrounding site and landscape. Take a look for yourself here.
We look forward to receiving your feedback and sharing more about this exciting project in the coming months.
