Outline Planning Application ready for submission
Ambitious plans for the regeneration of Kingshurst Village Centre will take another step forward this afternoon (Friday 12 June) with the submission of our Outline Planning Application.
This application lays out the key principles of the development and provides detail regarding access to the site at this stage, with more detailed design coming later.
It has been based on the Concept Masterplan which was shared with local residents and businesses earlier in the year. Comments and feedback received during this engagement have been used to help inform this latest stage of design.
The application will be subject to a 13 week determination period, meaning that decisions are expected to be made in September.
Alongside the Outline Planning Application we will also be submitting an illustrative layout which provides an impression of what the final scheme could look like and shows the capacity of the site for new residential, retail, community and healthcare uses.
We want to continue providing opportunities for you to have your say on these plans as the scheme progresses. If successful the next steps will involve finalising the details of layout, scale and appearance of the development.
