It was held at the stunning venue High Grosvenor House in Claverley, near Bridgnorth.
The keynote speaker was Karmen Novak from international beauty brand Flower and Spice who flew in from Amsterdam to come and speak at the event. Her brand, Flower and Spice partners with distributors in Switzerland and China, and she spoke about how she launched her business and lessons learned overcoming challenges to achieve global success.
Karmen said, “It is never too late to turn your vision into reality, launching a female-led business is not about age, it’s about courage, passion, and the determination to create something meaningful. The world needs your ideas, no matter when you start.”
Yasmin Sulaman also took to the stage to share her powerful story about how she turned life’s challenges into a masterclass of resilience and joy. Yasmin shared her mantra that: “Resilience and joy can go hand in hand, even when the odds are stacked against you.”

The fallout from the November budget is hanging over the Shropshire business community like a ‘black cloud’, according the results of our latest Quarterly Economic Survey.
It said employers were being ‘squeezed’ by four key factors – tax rises, employment rules, rising inflation, and the aftermath of the November budget.
The quarterly survey quizzed business owners on a wide range of topics including sales forecasts, international trade, recruitment, training, cashflow, and confidence levels to gain a snapshot of the mood among local employers,
Nearly three quarters of the firms which responded said they expected to increase prices over the next three months – a rise of 16% on the previous quarter.
