Please be aware that the Shropshire Multi-Agency Referral Form, to support referrals to Children Social Care (via Compass), has been updated and is now live to download at Multi-agency Referral: Reporting concerns (MARF) (procedures.org.uk). Please use the new form with immediate effect.
We are aware that children who have poor or inconsistent attendance at early years setting can struggle with the transition into school and this may develop to those children having poor or non-attendance at school. If you have any concerns relating to a child’s attendance who is due to start school in September please contact Jo Smith jo.smith@shropshire.gov.uk who will be able to look at what support can be offered to the child, their family and you.
There is so much to prepare for when you are expecting a baby. One area that sometimes get overlooked, is how a baby will affect your relationship with your partner. Our new Family Foundations Course, which is free for Shropshire residents, will give you and your partner the skills and confidence you need to create the best family possible for your little one.
With sessions held before and after the arrival of your baby, the course will help you support each other through the big changes ahead. Speak to your midwife who can refer you to book a place.

About Childminding UK
Childminding UK has been supporting childminders for over 30 years. Formed in 1991 by and for local working childminders in Northamptonshire, we now support childminders across the country. A registered charity, we are the only national organisation that solely supports childminders and the only early years organisation to have achieved the Princess Royal Training Award for ‘Ensuring high quality childcare through training and support’. All staff are experienced childcare professionals, and have been childminders themselves and our trustees are working childminders or have knowledge of childminding, so we have an excellent understanding of the sector.
Thank you for considering promoting our conference. Please contact us if you have any questions.
kind regards,
Tina Maltman Executive Director Direct Line 01536 502870
