We are about to launch the Wraparound Childcare funding programme for schools and childcare providers.
Before and after school childcare: Everything you need to know about wraparound care – The Education Hub (blog.gov.uk)
We will be setting up a small project group (around ten people in total from a range of backgrounds) to help us roll out the programme and we are looking for interested people who would like to be part of the group. The aim of the project group will be to provide advice and guidance as we develop our guidance, expectations and application forms and to help consider grant applications as and when they are received. We would envisage a commitment or around 2 hours per month for the next 12 months with meetings being held predominantly through MS Teams during the day.
If this opportunity is of interest to you, and if you would like to be part of informing and supporting the roll out of this major programme then please drop me an email.
Many thanks
Neville

Whistleblowing is when someone raises a concern about a dangerous or illegal activity or any wrongdoing within their organisation. It is important that we empower staff to be able to raise concerns with ourselves or with external agencies if they have a concern. This will firstly Safeguard the children within our care, but it will also help us improve and develop our practice and processes. Please share this link with your staff Whistleblowing Advice Line | NSPCC and display the poster to ensure that your staff know about whistleblowing and what to do if they are worried.
There have been updates made to DfE Information Sharing guidance, the updates give more clarity on the use of consent and on the legal framework needed to support sharing of information.

If you are sending us anything it is best to do it by e-mail if at all possible, this includes any invoices for funding you may be expecting. If you have to send items by post then you should expect a longer delay then previously. If in doubt then please get in touch before you do anything.
