Shropshire is buzzing with the spirit of sustainability thanks to People Planet Pint (PPP) meetups. With gatherings in Shrewsbury recently celebrating their first year and Bridgnorth kicking off its inaugural meeting in January 2024, PPP is where local environmental enthusiasm meets the local community. Grab a free pint and have an informal chat—it’s that simple.
At PPP, you won't find the usual pitches, PowerPoints, or panels. Instead, it's about bringing together diverse individuals to discuss life and sustainability over a beverage. It's the perfect spot for anyone looking to start or continue their journey towards a more sustainable future.
The next Bridgnorth event is fast approaching, and local hosts Craig Thomas and Anna Rose Bowler are eager to welcome even more new people after over thirty people attended the first meeting at the start of the year. PPP events are informal yet immensely informative. Whether you're a seasoned environmentalist or new to the scene, these meetups are designed to foster connections and inspire action. Host Craig commented:
“It was great to meet so many people back in January. There was a real buzz in the room as people got together to chat. Creating a sustainable future is about making local changes together, one small step at a time. Lots of new connections were made, with many attendees enthusiastic about the informal style of the meeting.”
The next event is scheduled for Wednesday, 24 April, at The Black Boy Inn, Bridgnorth. Secure your spot through Eventbrite and join a growing community eager to make a difference.
