Vibrant Shropshire: A Cultural Compact is a new cross sector partnership with a broad focus on supporting the cultural sector to develop great events and activities that are open to all. Our aim is to look at how the development of culture can help to support the health, wellbeing, environmental sustainability and economy of the county. Vibrant Shropshire is currently managed by Shropshire Council and aims to establish itself as an independent body in the future.
You may be receiving this email because you have subscribed to the Culture Consortium Shropshire (CCS) or Shropshire and Telford Arts Partnership (STAP) newsletters. Vibrant Shropshire has now taken on the responsibility of sending information to the cultural sector in Shropshire so all future newsletters will come from Vibrant Shropshire.
Some other areas of work previously managed by CCS and STAP will now be taken forward by Vibrant Shropshire, as well as many new projects.

Vibrant Shropshire is part of the national network of Cultural Compacts supported and funded by Arts Council England (ACE) and the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and it is facilitated by Shropshire Council.
It is chaired by Paul Johnson, Deputy Provost of University Centre Shrewsbury, and the Board is made up of representatives from business, education, health, wellbeing, the local authority and culture.
Our main aim is to help deliver Vibrant Shropshire, the county's cultural strategy. We want to help the sector to deliver amazing cultural activities and events that are open to all and increase the county’s health, wellbeing, economic development, resilience, sustainability and local pride.
You can find out more about Vibrant Shropshire at our Launch Event and on our soon to be launched webpage.
