Good planning and organisation are essential to putting on an event that is both safe and enjoyable.

You can get started with our guidance for organisers on how to plan, manage and monitor your event. It will help you make sure workers and the visiting public are not exposed to health and safety risks.

Depending on the size of your event, you may also need to take extra steps in order to manage crowds safely.

We currently have an opportunity for supporting young people aged 16-24 into 30hrs of volunteering linked to physical activity/wellbeing.

We are working with Energize to get young people into these opportunities. The actual activity would need to be linked to physical activity/wellbeing, for example supporting marketing/comms for an event that includes an activity. Some of the hours could also include any training/qualification they may complete – again linked to physical activity/wellbeing.
