Families eligible for benefits related free school meals will shortly be receiving their HAF Voucher and a printed copy of this Activity Programme from their schools, to help them plan their summer activities. Quote your HAF Voucher Code to the providers to claim your free place.

What can the Shropshire Family Information Service do for you?

The Shropshire Family Information Service provides free information, advice and support on all aspects of family life. Whether you're expecting a baby or have young children or teenagers, we can support you and any carer or other family member involved. The Reading Agency and Shropshire Libraries' Summer Reading Challenge 2021 "Wild World Heroes"

Children are invited to join the Wild World Heroes on a Reading Adventure in Shropshire Libraries.

Shropshire Libraries are calling for children to sign up to the Wild World Heroes Reading Adventure for the 2021 Summer Reading Challenge. We are very glad to be offering the full challenge this year and to welcome families back into our libraries.

The Summer Reading Challenge asks 4-11year olds to read over the summer. The theme for 2021 is Wild World Heroes, sponsored by the WWF (World Wildlife Fund), where the children can help save Wilderville by reading 6 items (books, audiobooks, magazine articles, poems etc.) and collecting the prizes by progressing through the challenge, finishing with a medal and a certificate.

To take part in the Wild World Heroes reading challenge all children need to do is sign up at their nearest library – it’s free.
