Supporting our customers
During the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, we want to reassure our customers that it is business as usual for us. We are continuing to carry out essential emergency maintenance and statutory servicing. Project work is also being designed and tendered ready to start when restrictions are lifted.
As the health and safety of our employees, customers and contractors is paramount, we will need to ensure compliance with social distancing, hygiene and current guidelines regarding Covid-19. We would therefore be grateful if you could let us know if there have been any cases of the virus in the property when calling the help desk. Or likewise let our contractors know when they book in inspections.
Wherever possible, we would be grateful if you would allow our contractors access to carry out statutory inspections to ensure buildings remain compliant.
We are proud to be supporting our customers in managing their property and assets during these testing time, please do not hesitate to contact us on 01743 281079 if you require help or advice.
We thank you for your understanding and PSG wish you all remain safe and healthy during this unprecedented time.
Thanks to our contractors
We would also like to thank our loyal and trusted contractors for continuing to provide their services during this testing time. Without you, we would not be able to keep our buildings open. Thank you!

Towards the end of last year PSG worked with a number of Academies to complete CIF bids applications to fund high priority condition works for summer 2020. In total PSG are supporting 14 bids for the 2020-21 bidding round.
The Department for Education will now announce the successful bids to be funded in May 2020. PSG will be in contact with successful Academies and, with the tight turnaround, every effort will be made to deliver the works over the summer holidays as originally programmed.
The Condition Improvement Fund (CIF) is an annual bidding opportunity for academies and sixth-form colleges to apply for capital funding. The core priority of CIF funding is to address significant condition need, keeping buildings safe and in good working order. For more information see our website http://psg.shropshire.gov.uk/what-we-do/#cif-bids
Heating oil prices
We have been made aware that current heating oil prices are very low. Properties using heating oil should consider contacting their oil supplier to check prices and, if financially beneficial, top up their storage tanks now.
The Tannery, Shrewsbury
Despite the Covid-19 restrictions, our team continues to monitor workmanship and progress at the new Riverside Medical Practice, at the Tannery, in Shrewsbury's town centre. This project is one of the Council's key construction projects.
Clerk of Works, Scott Gerrard, is using Microsoft Office Teams for virtual site meetings with his colleague Richard Roberts.
Fund Raising
Severn Hospice Dragon Boatrace has been cancelled this year due to Covid-19. We have therefore donated our entry fee to the Hospice and fully intend to take part next year.
The team will continue to support this and other charities over the coming months.
Staff Corner
To end on a lighter note, whilst the team are working from home, four legged family members are delighted to have their company. Here are some of pictures, I am sure you agree they are very handsome!
