Covid Community bus
Community Covid Bus
The Community Covid Bus is an amazing new resource, travelling all over Sheffield, designed to be a one stop shop for all things Covid-19, as well as offering people who don’t have covid symptoms, the opportunity to have an on site LFD test, helped by staff, with the results available in 30 minutes. You can also collect boxes of LFD test kits to take home, get advice on vaccinations, pick up free resources and get signposted to help and support like the Test & Trace Support Payment.
The minibus is operated by staff from Sheffield City Council’s Test and Trace teams and is working in partnership with local voluntary organisations and the NHS. They are friendly, can speak a variety of languages and are happy to help with any Covid-19 related queries. They can also provide the information in different languages or accessible formats. See the minibus in action at: bit.ly/CommunityCovidBus
If your community group would benefit from a visit from the minibus, or have an event you’d like it to attend, please email communitytesting@sheffield.gov.uk
