Christmas bubbles
Christmas bubbles are allowed from the 23 to 27 December. This means a maximum of 3 households are allowed to meet, however, you can't mix and match these households. For example you can't see one household on Christmas Day and a different one on Boxing Day - you need to stick to the same bubble throughout the 5 days.
Choose your bubble carefully - just because you can meet, doesn't mean you should, especially if you have older or vulnerable family members. The government have produced a short video about Christmas bubbles - watch on You Tube here. The social media graphic below is also available on www.sheffield.gov.uk/coronaviruscommunityresources under 'Festive' heading. We'll share more information, including any translations as they become available.

It's still very important for anyone to have a Covid test as soon they get symptoms. Test sites will be open throughout the festive period - however opening times may vary. Any change in times will be updated on our webpages here

Tiers 'Can I?' Table
Public Health colleagues have produced a useful table for Providers, which gives more details about a range of different scenarios within the national Tiers. When using this information please remember we are currently under Tier 3 restrictions in Sheffield. This is available to download under the Rules and Restrictions section of www.sheffield.gov.uk/coronaviuscommunityresources
We hope this will be useful in helping your communities understand the restrictions.
