Dear Parents' Assembly Member,
Welcome to a special edition of our weekly bulletin.

“We make sure that ALL children have a say...”
We recently wrote to you about the Every Child Matters (ECM) Survey, which has been running in our schools for 10 years now.
Since 2006, around 45,000 children and young people have shared their views with us on a range of topics.
Yesterday, we held our celebration event to mark this decade of dedication to listening to the voices of our pupils.
A number of schools attended and many of them were presented with an award by the Lord Mayor for their ongoing commitment to the survey.
The event also included a range of fun activities, interesting speakers… and the premiere of our short film. |

“We come from all over the world...”
We co-wrote the film script with our colleagues at Pipworth Community Primary and filmed it in the school a week later.
Members of the School Council took leading roles, all pupils sang the musical intro in assembly and we were lucky to be there on the same day Paralympian gold medallist Grace Clough dropped by to speak to the children about determination (one of Pipworth’s values).
So, if you find a spare 10 minutes this weekend, why not make yourself a hot drink, put your feet up and sit back to enjoy 10 Years Of The Every Child Matters Survey?
We’d love to know what you think of it and we’d appreciate any shares or retweets to help it reach a wider audience.
“You can find out more at…”
