A big thank you from the Leader
On Tuesday, Sandwell Council's Leader Councillor Rajbir Singh visited the vaccination site at Tipton Sports Academy.
The site has been open since February and the team there has already vaccinated more than 57,000 people. The staff and volunteers are doing an amazing job.

Book a test if you test positive at home
 Thank you to everyone doing twice weekly Covid-19 rapid tests at home.
But remember, if you test positive using a rapid test, you MUST book a PCR test at a test centre within 48 hours and start to self-isolate for ten full days, or until you get a negative PCR result.
If you have symptoms, you MUST book a PCR test and self-isolate. Symptoms for Covid-19 are a high temperature, a new continuous cough, or a change to your sense of taste or smell.

There is never any excuse for abuse
📢 We would like to hear from people across all of our communities in Sandwell as we look to increase our understanding of sexual assault and abuse.
👂 We are seeking a wide range of views, including those from older and younger people, LGBT+ communities, people with disabilities and people from all ethnicities and backgrounds.
📩 You don’t have to be a victim of sexual assault or abuse to complete the survey, there are questions around how safe you feel generally in Sandwell. Feedback will help us to improve our support services and ensure all victims and survivors feel safe, heard and protected.

⏳ There are less than 5 days left to apply for the EU Settlement Scheme.
EU, EEA and Swiss citizens living in the UK on or before 31 December 2020 must apply to ensure they can continue to live, work, study and access healthcare after 30 June 2021.
Please check if you need to apply for your children, even if you’ve already applied for yourself.
