Help keep them safe

❗️❗️Please share this important message with your older relatives❗️❗️

There has been a sharp increase in the number of people over 65 testing positive for Covid-19.

This is a really worrying trend as these people are at higher risk of serious illness and death if infected with Covid-19.

If you have relatives in this age group, please ask them to stay at home as much as they can and help where you can.

If you do have to go out:

Wash your hands regularly
😷Wear a face covering
↔️Keep 2 metres apart from anyone you don't live with

Green Flag - Dartmouth Park

We now have 14 Green Flag Awards in Sandwell

Sandwell has two new Green Flag Awards this year – with the Birmingham Main Line Canal and the Lions of the Great War memorial in Smethwick joining 12 other green spaces across the borough.

Each of these 14 sites have received the prestigious Green Flag. They are among more than 2,000 sites across the country to collect the award for 2020.

The Green Flag Award scheme, managed by environmental charity Keep Britain Tidy under licence from the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government, recognises and rewards well-managed parks and green spaces.
