Flood Warning

Storm Christoph - UPDATED INFORMATION

Amber weather warnings and three flood alerts are still in place for Rotherham.

Using the best current information we have, revised weather forecasts indicate that, if we do get flooding, it will most likely occur from late morning to early afternoon tomorrow (Wednesday 20th January). This is later than the previous estimates.

The Council has been working hard over the last two days to put precautionary measures in place to protect residential properties in the areas identified as being most at risk. This includes the widespread use of sandbags and the deployment of pumps.

We would still advise anyone who has previously been affected by flooding to consider taking necessary precautions and to keep a close watch on weather updates.
