New Member Spotlight
We would like to welcome Jflemay Architecture and Design, who are based at Brompton Library.
Jflemay is a RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) - chartered architecture and design office led by Jean-François C. Lemay. Jean-Francois is originally from Montreal in Canada and setup his practise in 2019. Prior to setting up his practise, Jean-Francois worked as an architect for nine year for Sir Norman Foster's office.
Jflemay projects range from innovative and patented flat-pack furniture, to an ecological house in Quebec and an art gallery in Florida. They are also working with the artist Soheila Sokhanvari to design her upcoming exhibition at the Barbican Centre. The exhibition is scheduled to launch in October 2022. In summary, Jean-Francois highlights that "Jflemay specialise in bespoke, artistic projects requiring a fresh, thorough and professional approach".
Jean-Francois adds on his experience and reflection of K+C Co-works, "When I learnt that my previous co-working space was closing down, I visited about ten other co-working spaces in Chelsea, Fulham and Kensington. I quickly decided on the K+C Co-works in Brompton as it was the best located and recently renovated. I appreciate that RBKC run this co-working space as a not-for-profit. The affordable rent helps my business to thrive."

What's Hot Around Town?
Ravi Sharma, Community Development Manager for K+C Co-works, continues to provide you with local restaurant recommendations and more for the areas surrounding Brompton, Chelsea and Notting Hill Gate Libraries.
A refreshing and vibrant hidden gem located just a stone's throw away from Notting Hill Gate Library, When Abby Met Claud will tingle your taste buds.
The manager, Valentina is friendly, welcoming and makes you feel as if you are part of the family. I went here with a group of friends for lunch. Although the restaurant was not bustling with patrons, it still had the perfect ambience. Valentina explained to us that the owners (Abby and Claud) met at school in 2001.
I opted for the Moving Mountain Burger (vegan), served with fries. The succulent burger patty was prepared with tomato, lettuce, pickled gherkins, and avocado. There are plenty of options to choose from, The Grey Goose Vodka also looked very tempting! To go with the burger, I tried out the Chilli Margarita and my friend opted for a fresh juice.
When Abby Met Claud also offer a tempting bottomless brunch and martini dinners. The team focus on offering fun and familiarity combined with an enthusiastic décor.
Discount For K+C Co-work Members
Claud has generously offered 20 percent off your bill for July 2022 and 10 percent off your bill from August 2022. All you must do is present your K+C Co-works access card or library membership card.
