We're improving our technology to making it easier for you to do your job, ensure our data is secure and to support our vision of putting customers at the heart of everything we do.
Changing Zoom to make it safer
Microsoft Teams is the application we should be using to collaborate together with colleagues across the council. You may however still need to use Zoom to attend events or meetings with anyone external to the council. To make sure those who need to use Zoom are working with the most up to date and safe version of the software, we will be deleting all current versions of Zoom from Friday 9 December. Zoom will be automatically deleted when you log in for the first time after this date. If you need to use Zoom after 9 December, please follow the re-installation steps available on the intranet. If you have any concerns, please speak to your manager.

Finally, make sure you take part in the budget consultation now underway. Give your views and help shape our budget for next year and the strategic direction we take to achieve our council plan. The survey is open until 11.59pm on 18 December.
If you haven't done so yet, remember to watch the recording of the recent staff session and hear chief executive David Williams and deputy leader of the council Cllr Suzy Horton answer your questions and talk about the council plan.
