 Early Language Plan on a Page
As discussed in the recent termly briefing, we are in the process of revising and refreshing the Early Language Plan on a Page.
Please could you take a look at the partially updated plan here.
Please could you consider whether the language makes sense to you. Are there any wording changes you think need to be made or has something that is crucial to communication and language development been missed out?
Could you also consider how your setting currently delivers on this plan. What do you do to promote stimulating language rich environments? How does your setting ensure all staff have an understanding of how children acquire language and how they further support their development? We would really welcome your ideas on how you do this so that we can develop a practice guide to show the fantastic work you do, but to also help others understand how to move communication and language development forwards.
